Goal Re-reset

Only a few weeks ago, I wrote a blog post, re-directing myself towards three new goals, having believed that I had accomplished my original three. Let's re-visit these new goals.

They are as follows (shortened):

1) Research exact requirements for warehouse that I would want and any legal necessities

2) Create professional grade extracts

3) Star drafting standard operating procedures

I wanted to revise these goals as I realized that I am trying to move a bit to fast. I am revising my goals to be the following:

1) Research exact requirements for the warehouse (so keeping this the same)

2) Making agar plates, liquid culture, and grain spawn in house (this is a bigger lift than I realized and I really need to focus on this as a major goal)

3) Getting sales at the farmers market up to 40/50lbs a week to match production

I realized that with me being so new to the farmers market, and that being my most likely source of revenue for the next half a year or longer, I should really have that as being an important goal. I need to continuously work to refine the selling process there by creating a more attractive stand and connecting with customers.

And then I also pulled up one of my first goals from the first list that I thought I would get done earlier. Lab work is really difficult and I think I'm underestimating how much work it will be to get up to speed there - especially with my non-bio background.

The professional grade extracts can wait :). I can still refine lions mane powder for mushroom coffee producers if they want and plan on drafting the SoPs as part of my normal thursday research/online work routine.

These seem like much more suitable goals for the next few months! Kowabunga!
