Pre-conditioning the air before the fruiting room

By watching YouTube videos and reading more on mushrooms, I have come to the understanding that preconditioning the air prior to moving it into the grow rooms is important. This serves several purposes: (1) the temperature of the air is controlled, (2) the humidity of air can be controlled and (3) air can be filtered of any micro particles prior to being moved into the grow rooms.
This is as opposed to tubing in warm air directly from outside (in the summer), which may cause temperature fluctuations in the indoor growing area. Therefore, it is a natural step to take if one were to improve the consistency of production.
As of now, I am not pre-conditioning the air but am considering between two alternatives. The first is having a relatively small pre-conditioning box (as small as needed ) in order to humidify the air and cool it before pumping it into the grow rooms. This is my preferred method. The second, is cooling the entire basement down to my desired temperature and then create just tubing in the air into the basement - while also tubing in air from outside into the basement. This will ensure that the volume of air within the basement is sufficient so that it can be properly pre-conditioned before being moved into the grow tents.
I am more likely going to go with the first alternative because I would need to better insulate the entire basement were I to go with the second approach. While that might actually be good because larger harder projects allow me to learn more, it doesn't seem as economically efficient as the cooling cost will be higher. Instead. I plan on creating some sort of long tubing where the air is cooled and humidified (maybe just cooled) as it floats through it. Then at the beginning of the tubes, I would also include some sort of filtration so as keep
outside particles out.
As I'm writing this out, I also realize that I could potentially create a better system for exhausting the air outside. I am using a MERV 13 filter for the exhaust tubing to reduce contamination to the outside area (there is little health risk as I am not growing any heavily sporulating species any longer). By making the filtered air go through another small box with a HEPA filter, this would allow virtually no spores to escape out into the neighborhood, which would give me greater peace of mind.
So in essence, I am adding two more processes. The first is the preconditioning of the air prior to moving it into the grow rooms and the second is a secondary layer of filtering before exhausting the air outside.
This would increase the temperature consistence in my rooms, filter out any outside contaminants, and also reduce spore contamination to my neighbors. Of course, this would also result in an increase in the amount of cleaning I would need to do, but this is of no worries, as cleaning is actually the main job of a mushroom cultivator and one that I am only too glad to take on.
